19th June 2019
On 19th June 2019, the University of Caen hosted the first LabFact Summer School at the castle of Caen.
The event saw local Small and Medium Enterprises learn about reagentless synthesis technologies available within the FCE region for more sustainable manufacturing methods. Experts delivered a series of lectures in the areas of electrosynthesis, mechanochemistry and photochemistry.
Keynote speakers included Prof. Géraldine MASSON, Prof. Carsten BOLM, Prof. Norbert HOFFMANN, Prof. Kevin LAM et Prof. Richard C.D Brown.
Industry representatives from Interchim, Corning and Anton Paar also had the opportunity to showcase their wares and demonstrate their equipment.
The second LabFact summer school will focus on mechanochemistry and will take place on July 5th at the University of Sussex.
